Yolanda Martin

Yolanda has been at the forefront of user experience consulting for video-on-demand television and interactive applications on all sorts of multi platform digital media. She has been working on projects into social media, viral marketing, advance technology interface creation, digital advertising, interactive entertainment, multi platform digital content, online gambling, international business development, film industry and also managing online reputations for companies and individuals. In 2004 she founded Olyvon and since that time designed and executed multiple interactive propositions across all digital platforms including TV, Web, Mobile, Films, Games and Interactive TV. She has been awarded with an interactive BAFTA in 2003 for the design of VMX (a music vod channel on Homechoice) and has been a juror for the 2008 Interactive EMMY awards.

Yolanda is currently the Head of UX at the highly disruptive start-up Rightster.com

After 13 years as a UX practitioner I have found myself in the fortunate/unfortunate position of having to adapt (once again) to a new project management methodology. Agile has been a challenge but I have to say that the experience has been very positive and I would like to share it with my colleagues at UXLx.
